Annapurna Circuit trek is our best selling trek. It lies bewteen Marshyangdi and Kali Gandaki river where you can see the huge Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges which is in central part of Nepal. If you start this trek from Besisahar to Beni, it is the longest distance which is about 230 KM which include highest Thotong-La pass 5416m, but there is shortest option by land transport. Nowadays you can use transport to Manang and transport from Muktinath to Pokhara. It depends on your time. Either you can use the transport or Trek all the way from Besisahar to Beni, you must cross the Thorong-La pass.
During the trek, you can explore ancient valley Manang, the heighest lake Tilicho, Heighet Pass Thorong-La, Forbidden tibetan Valley Mustang, Deepest Gorge Kaligandaki Gorge, Delightful apple garden at Marpha, Popular Pilgrimage site Muktinath Kagbeni. There are many different tribes of people like Thakali, Gurung, Brahman, Magar, Bhotia, Kshetri and more. You could see temples, Monastries, school, church and many social center which are run by local community. Most of the people are Hindu and Buddhist but we have very good relationship each other. You can see it in real life and feel it. The people who are living in this area, they are very friendly, kind, honest and always has good hospatality on their duty.
There are some side trip to explore in this area. You can visit Khicho Ice Lake above Bhraka village, Milerapa cave is other side of Bhraka, Hot Spring at Chame and Tatopani, Praken Gompa and Gangapurna glacier at Manang, Tilicho lake near Khangsar village, Jomsom eco Museum, Dumba lake, chhairo gompa, Leopard cave at Jomsom, Marpha Monastery, Apple distillery at Tukuche, Titi Lake at Kalopani and many more.

Himalaya Family provide the accommodations during the trek are on twin sharing basis with inclusive cost and are chosen based on standard of hygiene food and suitable location. Most of the Lodges has clean rooms and separate Bathrooms. We will use small lodge during the trek and 2/3 star category Hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara. We also provide 3/4/5 star hotel on your request.
We will provide the Food on full board basis will be served during the trek in the mountains. Three meals in a day (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner) will be served from the lodge. The dinner and breakfast will be served in the same lodge we spend the night. Lunch will be taken on the way to destination at a tea houses. Breakfasts will be served in Kathmandu/Pokhara as well. Most of the lodges has the food menu, Our Guide will suggest you the organic and hygienic local meal.
Day 1 : Arrival to Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our company representative will welcome you and drive towards the designated hotel. After a rest for a while, we will give a short briefing about our program and you will be provided with a Typical Nepali welcome Dinner in the evening.
Day 2 : Guided Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
Next day, we provide sightseeing guided by an expert to visit many beautiful places listed in the UNESCO heritage sites such as the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Durbar Square and many more.
Day 3 : Drive to Besisahar-Bhulbhule- 7hrs.- Trek to Ngadi 930m./1 hrs.
After Breakfast, Himalaya Family Guide/trekking staff will take you to tourist vehicle and drive to Besisahar through the prithvi highway with the views of Himalayan views, rivers, jungle and village of countryside. It takes around 6/7 hours to reach Besisahar (180km.). You will start your trek from Besisahar-Bhulbhule after prepare your Ruk-sak. It takes around 1 hour to reach Ngadi near by the bank of Marshyangdi River. Overnight at Ngadi. BLD.
Day 4 : Trek to Jagat 1300m./6hrs.
From Ngadi, the trail leads gradually up to Bahundanda and down to GhermuPhant (beautiful paddy fields). After crossing the suspension bridge at Marshyangdi river you will follow the wider road to Jagat. This walk offers beautiful views of waterfalls, river, villages. Overnight at Jagat. BLD.
Day 5 : Trek to Dharapani 1860m./6-7hrs
After Breakfast, you will hike to tal village which is the border of Manang and Lamjung district. On the way, you can see beautiful waterfalls, rocky hills. After Tal, you will continue walk to left side to Khotro village with the views of narrow ridge of marshyangdi and huge back rocky hills, waterfalls to Dharapani. Dharapani is the ending point of Manaslu trekking where you can enter your trekking Permit for Annapurna as well. Overnight at Dharapani.
Day 6 : Trek to Chame 2670m./6hrs.
Leaving Dharapani, you will start hike up to bagarchhap village through the easy road to Danaque. From Danaque, you will climb shortly to Thanchok village through the beautiful Rhododendron forest where you will take special lunch with local Mushroom. From here, you can see Manaslu Mountain, Himalchuli, Lamjung himal on the right. After lunch, you will trek to Chame village through the forest but wider road. Chame is the district headquarter of Manang. There are several shops, Bank, Monasteries, School, Health post, Post Office and more.
Day 7 : Trek to Pisang 3200m./5-6 hrs.
Leaving Chame, trail leads easy walk to tiny village Telekhu (2840m) and Bhratang village where you can see large garden of Apple which is new planted. After short rest at Bhratang we will continue walk to Dhukur Pokhari on the side of Marshyangdi river through the pine forest. Our staff provide you hot lunch at Dhukur Pokhari than easy walk to Pisang for 1 hour. Pisang is a old typical Gurung/Bhotia village, there are several local houses, Monastery and Tibetan school. They grows potatoes, buckwheet, barley and some seasonal vegetables. On the left side you will see Annapurna II and right side is Pisang Peak which is popular for climbing. Overnight at Pisang.
Day 8 : Trek to Manang 3540m./ 5hrs.
After Hot Breakfast at Pisang, there will be two option to go Manang. One option is via upper pisang through Ngwala/Ghyaru and another option is continue hike to Manang through Humde airport. Upper route is our recommended for the pleasant views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Chulu east and many peaks. You can see mesmerizing views of Manang valley with Marshyangdi river to the down from Ngawal/Ghyaru.
Day 9 : Acclimatization Day (Hike to Glacier and Bhojo Gompa)
So, today will be second night here. you can explore Praken Gompa (known as 100 Lama gompa), Gangapurna Glacier- lake and Manang village with our staff. It will be good acclimatization for the next days. There are some souvenir shop, if you need to buy some extra necessary items for thorong-La you could consult with our guide for the quality. Overnight at Manang.
Day 10 : Trek to Yak Kharka 4050m./4hrs.
You can have Breakfast first than pack your things for next camp to Yak Kharka. Today, trail continue leads to climb out of the Manang Valley. After reaching Tanki village, you can follow the left trail with the stunning views of Gangapurna than turn to Gunsang village where you can have hot drinks. Gunsang is very small peaceful village with 2/3 houses. From Gunsang, the trail is easy to Yak Kharka. This day, you could see several Yaks, blue ship and different kinds of Himalayan birds. You will be at Yak Kharka on Lunch time. after couple of hour, you could do acclimatization hike up to 3/4 hundred meter up from the village and down. It will be very helpful for next day. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 11 : Trek to Thorong Phedi 4450m./ 4hrs.
After hot Breakfast at Yak Kharka, The trail climbs along the east bank of the Jarsang Khola, then descends and crosses the stream on a suspension bridge at 4310m. Blue sheep, and even snow capped leopards, sometimes magically appears. The crow like bird and Himalayan griffons circles you overhead. It is some time possible to see herds of blue mountain sheep at Phedi.Overnight at Phedi 4450m. BLD.
Day 12 : Trek to Muktinath 3800m./9 hrs. (Same Day 5416m.-Thorong-La pass)
Early morning, we must start because there can be windy and bad weather to the pass. Our staff will manage pack food for the way where you will feel hungry after the pass. There is no tea house till next phedi near Muktinath. But there will be seasonal small tea shop on the top of Thorong-la and second high camp. Our Guide will be in front of you and the porters will be at the last, you will be in the middle because it can be happen to anyone. If you walk together than you can help each other. After reaching Pass, please walk slowly down to Muktinath because there will be dry wind and slippery. After few minute down from the top, you can see huge Dhaulagiri 8167m. mountain in the southwest. You will stop about 8/900 meter down from the top and you will fresh up with some food. After couple of hour down, you will reach Phedi where you could eat OR drink some hot food. The trail from here to Muktinath is easily slope down through wider road. After crossing small stream, you can see wider valley of Mustang from Muktinath. Muktinath is a popular Pilgrimage site for both Hindu and Buddhist. According to Methodology, the people who visit Muktinath once, their soul go to paradise and get enlightenment. (NIRVANA). Our expert guide will explain about the story of Muktinath. Overnight at Muktinath.
Day 13 : Trek to Jomsom 2700m./6hrs.- Via Kagbeni.
After visiting Muktinath Temple and having hot Breakfast at Hotel, you will trek down to Kagbeni through Jharkot (where you could see very old monastery and old village) and kingar. Kagbeni is another popular pilgrimage site for the hindu and Buddhist. The upper Mustang valley begins from here to the north Kaligandaki valley. You can shortly explore Kagbeni Monastery and typical old village. After having lunch at Kagbeni, you will trek to Jomsom through the wider Kali Gandaki river bank. Jomsom is windy village but our staff will provide you safety and non-windy room at Jomsom. At Jomsom, there is domestic airport only for Pokhara, Bank with ATM, Hospital, Post office, Medical, Local Bus station, several lodges and restaurant, Museum and more. overnight at Jomsom.
Day 14 : Fly/Drive to Pokhara (20minute flight, 9 hrs. Drive)
Early Morning you will take Breakfast and Ready for to Pokhara OR drive to Pokhara. If we take a flight, it takes 2o minute to reach pokhara with the pleasant views of Himalayas. If you take land transport, it takes 9 hours to reach pokhara through bumpy road to Berni than paved road to Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara. You can customize this option when you book with us. Day 15 : Fly/Drive to Kathmandu (40 minute flight, 7 hrs Drive)
Either you take a flight to Kathmandu OR drive. It takes 7 hrs by drive to Kathmandu and 40 minute flight. Overnight at Kathmandu. B.
Day 16 : Departure
Himalaya Family will come to see you at hotel on suitable time and provide you transport from hotel to Tribhuvan International Airport than we will say good bye each other and Invite to visit Nepal again.
